About Chocolabo

What is "Chocolabo"?
It is the first chocolate factory in Japan to operate as a welfare facility. At Chocolabo, a Type B employment support facility operated by the general incorporated association AOH, around 60 people with disability certificates are engaged in the daily manufacturing and sales of chocolate confectionery, utilizing their individual strengths. Each Chocolabo sweet, crafted by hand, reflects the unique personality of its maker.

The Vision Behind "Chocolabo"
Mr. Noriyuki Ito, the representative of the Chocolabo Group, started the chocolate factory because his son has a disability. He wanted to change the situation where there are few places for people with disabilities to work and where wage levels are low. After leaving his corporate job and starting his own business, he established Chocolabo.
With the corporate philosophy of "contributing to society by respecting all people equally, creating a community where people with disabilities, able-bodied individuals, and the elderly coexist, and building a system where all involved can feel enriched both materially and spiritually," Chocolabo has created employment opportunities for people with disabilities and improved their wages.
Chocolabo is coming to KDX Toyosu Grand Square! Please consider Chocolabo's carefully crafted sweets as "Cause Marketing Gift ~Products chosen for a reason~" for donations or as gifts for loved ones.
