About Chocolabo

What is "Chocolabo"?
It is the first welfare-focused chocolate workshop in Japan. At Chocolabo, a Type B employment support facility operated by the general incorporated association AOH, about 40 people with disability certificates daily manufacture and sell chocolate confectionery, making use of their individual talents. The sweets made by hand at Chocolabo express the individuality of each maker.

The Philosophy Behind "Chocolabo"
Mr. Noriyuki Ito, the representative of the Chocolabo Group, started the chocolate workshop because his son had a disability. Wishing to change the situation where there were few places for people with disabilities to work and wages were low, he quit his corporate job and founded Chocolabo.
With the corporate philosophy of "contributing to society by creating a community where all people are respected equally and people with disabilities, able-bodied people, and the elderly coexist, and all involved can feel material and spiritual prosperity," Chocolabo is creating employment opportunities and increasing wages for people with disabilities.
Chocolabo is coming to KDX Toyosu Grand Square! Please consider Chocolabo's meticulously crafted sweets as "Cause Marketing Gifts" for donations or as gifts for loved ones.
